Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY JOSEPHINE (KENNEDY) BURPEE Mary Josephine (Kennedy) Burpee died January 21, 2008, age 89. Mary loved life, her family, her horses, and her writing. Mary's final project was to donate the royalties from her fourth book, Shades of Ebony, to the Canadian Cancer Society. This book will be released January 31, 2008 (kenburlea@sasktel.net). She was predeceased by her husband Clarence in 1990. She leaves to mourn her children: Heather and John Lea (Fillmore, SK), Terry Lee and Keith Degenhardt (Hughenden, AB), Rod and Maddy Burpee (Carvel, AB), eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service for Mary will be held in Hughenden at the Community Hall, Saturday, January 26, 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Palliative Care Unit of the Hardisty Hospital or the Church of one's choice. www.creechsfuneralhomes.com Creech's Funeral Home, Wainwright 780-842-4211
