Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAMINA (WINNIE) OLIVER (nee FAIRLEY) Williamina (Winnie) Oliver passed away peacefully January 22, 2008 at the Convalescent Home in Winnipeg with her family at her side. Winnie was born on November 24, 1912 in Edinburgh, Scotland and moved to Canada at the age of four. She was happily married 63 years to Franklin (Frank) S. Oliver who predeceased her in December 1999. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Francis and Kaye and niece June Schlamp. She is survived by her loving son Craig and daughter Karen, grandson Dwayne and brother Ted. Winnie was known to everyone for her kindness, generosity and her beautiful garden. Hers was a full, rich life and she will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her. The family would like to extend thanks to the staff of the Convalescent Home for their kindness, care and compassion. An interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., on Tuesday, January 29 at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 885-9715
