Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRODERICK LAWRENCE FLETT On January 20, 2008, at the age of 91, Rod passed away at the Maples Personal Care Home. He leaves behind his sister Brenda Millar of Winnipeg, MB, and his son Dennis Flett (Jeannie) of Fort Smith, AR, as well as grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Rod will be fondly remembered for his sharp wit, great sense of humour and his wonderful stories. A decorated Second World War Veteran, Rod took great pride in his service to the Queens Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada. Many thanks to Joe, Pat and Bunny Haywood and Marlene Novak for their friendship, visits and all their help. A service will be held Monday, January 28 at 1:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street.
