ROBERT MERVIN LECLAIR On Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at his residence, Robert LeClair, aged 80 years, of Selkirk, MB. He leaves surviving his wife Doreen; daughters, Cheryl and Luanne; sons, Robert, Craig and Randy; sisters, Leona and Lauretta; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Harold. Robert was very active with the Selkirk Legion and the Christ Church, spending lots of time at both. He loved to curl and golf, and from them, made many friends and competitors. Robert was involved with coaching, as well as teaching cubs and scouts. He was a great dad. He was a quiet person, very direct and to the point. Robert worked at the Manitoba Rolling Mills for 45 years. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 28, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. in the Christ Anglican Church, Selkirk, with Rev. Brad Elliott officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Clements Cemetery with a luncheon being held in the Selkirk Legion basement hall. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
