LILY FARHALL (nee WELSH) On January 22, 2008, at the Health Sciences Centre, Lily Farhall, aged 77 years, widow of the late David Farhall, passed away. Lily will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Gary and David Goodman (Sherry); her grandchildren, Brian (Pam), Sarah, Jeffery and Lily; her great-granddaughter, Margaret-Ann; her sister, Alice, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Agnes Welsh; her sisters, Pearl, Grace and Marguerite; her brother, Richard; her first husband, Irvin Goodman, and by her second husband, Dave Farhall. Lily enjoyed her time spent with the South Y Seniors' Day Program and at the Orange Lodge 242. Viewing will take place 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, January 27, 2008, at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. E. at Navin Rd. Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m., Monday, January 28, also at Green Acres Funeral Home, Pastor Mark Doerksen officiating. The service is to be followed by cremation. Interment will take place at a later date in Green Acres Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lily's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, R3E 0V9.
