LESLIE COX It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Leslie (Les) A. S. Cox in his 88th year, on Monday, January 21, 2008, at the London University Hospital. Beloved husband of Elyse for 40 years. Loving grandfather of Darren (Edmonton), Alison (Vancouver), Jason (Thunder Bay) and daughter-in-law Lina (Thunder Bay). Predeceased by his first wife Eleanor (1966), son Stephen (2007) and brother William. Les was a Veteran of the Second World War as a flying officer in the RCAF (1940-1946) and served overseas. Les was Past President of the Lakehead Food Brokers Association, Past Vice President of the Port Arthur/Fort William Kiwanis Club, past member of Khartoum Temple - Winnipeg, self employed as a Food Broker of Cox Food Brokers (1946-1977) and retired to Winnipeg in 1977 and then to London, Ontario, in 1992. At his request cremation has taken place. A family memorial service will be held at FOREST LAWN MEMORIAL CHAPEL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. I, Elyse, would like to thank the staff, the Cardiac Care nurses and the doctors of Medicine. Also, the caring staff and residents of the Richmond Woods Retirement Residence.
