WILLIAM STEPHEN and DELORES DIANE BADLO Suddenly, on January 21, 2008, Bill Badlo passed away after a brief illness. Four days following, on January 25, 2008, Del Badlo passed away after a lengthy illness. Bill and Del first met in 1958 and would have celebrated 47 years of marriage in July. They are survived by their son Bill and his wife Valerie, Del's mother Mary Mansell, Bill's brother Ray Badlo (MaryAnn), sister Stephanie Stirling, niece Pat Pollock and her son Sean and his family. They were predeceased by Bill's sister Mary Balanduk, brother Meron Badlo, sister-in-law Gladys Badlo and parents Simeon and Dora Badlo. Bill and Del were very kind, caring, honest, hardworking people. Bill worked as a machinist for CN for 37 years. Del had a career in credit collections and worked for Bank of Montreal as Manager Credit Collections Western Region. After working for many years, they enjoyed a long, early retirement together. They stressed the importance of hard work and education for their son Bill and were proud to see him become accomplished in his career. They also enjoyed nature and animals and over the years adopted several pets. They enjoyed feeding the deer and birds that often visited their country home. At their request, cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. Until we meet again. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
