Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES (GILL) FRASER On Wednesday, January 23, 2008 Gill passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 60 years. Gill will be sadly missed by his wife Jennifer; children Graeme and Scott (Meredith); sisters Anne and Jean; sister-in-law Sandra (Ron), father-in-law Ernie Hutchinson as well as extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Frances and his mother-in-law Isobel. Born April 22, 1947 in Vancouver, Gill then moved to Winnipeg and spent his youth in Fort Garry. He attended Vincent Massey Collegiate. Gill worked as a draughtsman and an assessment officer for the Manitoba Government. He will be remembered for his passion for golf and his custom handy work. Other interests included hunting, working on cars, woodworking and spending time with family and friends. Friends were very important to Gill and he looked forward to his payday luncheons in Portage la Prairie. Although he suffered from many health issues, Gill's attitude was always more than 110%. A celebration of Gill's life will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. in the Bridge Church, 620 Oxbow Road (South West Corner of Portage Avenue and the Perimeter Highway) Winnipeg, MB with Rev. Dr. Brian Brglez presider. Interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Avenue. Special thanks to the staff at the Sherbrook and Central Dialysis Centres and D5 at the Health Sciences Centre. Your exceptional care was much appreciated. As well, a special thanks to all Gill's friends who were always there to take his calls. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gill's memory may be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada Manitoba Branch, 730 Taylor Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3M 2K8.
