PETER ALVIN FRIESEN December 17, 1932 - January 29, 2008 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Peter Alvin Friesen on January 29 at the Maples Personal Care Home. He was 75 years old. Peter is survived by his wife Hilda, daughter Geraldine Harborne (Mike), son Michael John Friesen (Kelle), three grandchildren, brother Henry Friesen (Sarah) and sister Mary Balzer. He was predeceased by his son Michael, brothers John, Jake, and Walter, sister Anne, parents Jacob and Helen Friesen. Peter was born on the farm in Alexander, MB. He enjoyed sports, and was a very good hockey player and baseball pitcher in his youth. Peter completed his education at MBCI. He worked many years at Wescott Fashions, and also at Palliser Furniture and Eaton's. Dad was a very kind, patient, and accepting man. He loved his family, and especially enjoyed visits from his grandchildren. Peter also liked talking to his friends at McDonalds. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at the Maples Personal Care Home for their kindness and care given. Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler Funeral Chapel 224 - 1525.
