MARY KULCZYCKI (nee MARDYNALKA) Peacefully on January 29, 2008 Mary Kulczycki, aged 83, passed away at Riverview Health Centre with her family by her side. Mary will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her sons, Bernie, Lawrence (Sharon); grandchildren, Roman, Victor; brothers, Andrew (Jean), Walter, Eddie, Billy, Frankie (Elaine); sisters, Sophie, Pauline, Lily (Joe), Lena; sister-in-law Elsie, and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1993; parents, Nick and Anne; brothers, Mike, Johnny, Dan and a sister Theresa. Mary was born March 24,1924 in Hadashville, Manitoba. She was one of 13 children. Mary was employed as a seamstress/sample designer for Silpit Industries in Winnipeg until retirement in 1987. She was a gentle, caring and compassionate person who led by example and loved a challenge especially when she obtained her driver's license at age 63. She loved to sew, garden and pick mushrooms and berries, which she used to create her delicious Ukrainian meals. The family would like to thank Dr. I. Maxwell, and especially the staff of Riverview 3E for their excellent care. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 2 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held one half hour before service. Interment Glen Eden Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tommy Mardynalka, Kenny Mardynalka, Steven Mardynalka, Wayne Mardynalka, Wayne Kulczycki, and Neil Kulczycki. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mary's memory to CancerCare Manitoba.
