Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALVIN KRAVETSKY It is with great sorrow that the family of Alvin Kravetsky announces his passing on Monday, January 28, 2008 at the age of 74, after a valiant fight with cancer. Alvin was more than an Uncle to Gary and Rhoda, Martin and Barbara, Hillel and Sharon, Daniel and Audrey Kravetsky, Arna and Yair Finzi and truly a Great Uncle to their children and grandchildren. Alvin is survived by his wife Goldie, his best friend from whom he was inseparable for over 54 years, his siblings and their spouses, Marvin and Carol, Phil, Elaine and Lloyd and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters and their spouses Wilfred, Cecil and Beatrice, Hy and Myra, Fred and Sara, Lola, Belle and Joe, Clara and Al, Rosalie and Louie, Shimon, and Deena. Alvin's family, together with his friends, mourns his loss and celebrates his life. His spirit will live on in the memories of all who loved him and in everyone whose lives he touched. Alvin's funeral was held on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at the Chesed Shel Emes, with interment at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery, with Rabbi L. Pinsker officiating. Pallbearers were Abe Borzykowski, Phillip Charles Kravetsky, Cary Kravetsky, Josh Kravetsky, Tim Ginter, Ryan Munro, and Dr. Azriel Kravetsky. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alvin Kravetsky Fund at the Jewish Foundation, C400, 123 Doncaster Blvd., Winnipeg, Manitoba, 477-7525.
