EILEEN KLAN The family is sad to announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother on Monday, January 7, 2008 at the Holy Family Nursing Home. Eileen was predeceased by her husband William in 1995 after over 50 years of marriage. In eternal peace they are together again. Eileen took great pride in her family and their accomplishments. Her generosity touched the lives of many a family member and friends. She enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She proudly shared many a tale of her military career and catered many family gatherings with her awesome cooking skills gained from her years of employment at the Lincoln Hotel. The kitchen was her favorite room in their home. Her love for shopping was passionate and she always knew where to find the deals. As these memories run through our minds we miss you. Eileen leaves to mourn in her passing, sons William and Richard, special daughter-in-law Lynn (Rick), granddaughters Cindy (Paul) and Kelly (Jeff) and four great-grandchildren Brittany, Joshua, Madison and Taylor, as well as her remaining brothers and their families, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. The family wishes to express their thankfulness to the compassionate caregivers at the Holy Family Nursing Home. Your ongoing care and support of Eileen has not gone unnoticed. To you we are truly thankful. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. to allow for out-of-town family to travel. Flowers are gratefully declined, donations may be made in Eileen's memory to the Children's Hospital Foundation, 840 Sherbrook Ave. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
