CLIFFORD (CLIFF) W. VAN NORMAN December 12, 1931 - January 30, 2008 After a lengthy battle with cancer, with his wife of 52 years Lillian by his side, Cliff peacefully passed away in the palliative care ward of the St. Boniface Hospital on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the age of 76 years. Remaining to forever cherish Cliff's memory are his loving wife, Lillian; sons, Randy, of Winnipeg, Dan (Joyce) of Kelowna, Sam (Leslie) of Calgary and Steve of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Robyn, Shane and Nicole; sister Betty of Winnipeg and her sons Todd, Darren and Wade. He was predeceased by his parents and son Terry. Cliff enjoyed a good life and always did things his own way. He was loved and will be missed. Rest peacefully Dad, you have earned it. In compliance with Cliff's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A small private family interment will follow at a later date. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff on the eighth floor palliative care ward of the St. Boniface Hospital, for their care and compassion for Cliff during his last few weeks.
