ELEANOR MARCHENSKI (RUDKAVITCH) Peacefully, on Monday, January 28, 2008, after a short illness Eleanor passed away at the age of 90 years at Concordia Hospital. Eleanor will be missed by her daughter-in-law Nellie, granddaughter Terry, grandson Trevor and numerous relatives and friends. Eleanor grew up in the area of Mossey River Munc., where Eleanor met and married John. They raised one son (Larry), owned and operated the Winnipegosis Hotel from 1938 to 1950 and then moved to Winnipeg and purchased Green Acres Motel. After her husband's death, Eleanor went to work at St. Boniface Hospital on the eighth floor working with sick children for 17 years. Eleanor enjoyed playing bingo, had a love for animals and country music. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband John in 1963 and by her son Larry in 1977. There will be a private graveside service in Winnipegosis at a later date. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Concordia Hospital on the third floor for their special care.
