CATHERINE PATRICIA HARRISON August 26, 1926 February 1, 2008 With heavy hearts we say goodbye to our beloved mother, grandmother and sister Catherine Patricia Harrison. Pat passed away peacefully on February 1, 2008 at the age of 81 after a long struggle with cancer. She leaves behind her sons John (Christie), George and Tom (Traci) and grandchildren Rebecca, Sarah, Brett and Ilyssa. She also leaves behind her brother Thomas and sister Bridget. She was predeceased by her husband John in 2004. Pat was a registered nurse. She received her training in Britain and continued nursing after immigrating to Canada. She had a great love of flowers and gardening and was very active in the Horticultural Society for many years. Her grandchildren were one of her greatest joys. We want to give a very heartfelt thanks for the sweet and loving care she received from the staff at the Kildonan Personal Care Centre. God bless you for the kindness and dignity you offered her during her final weeks. In keeping with Pat's wishes cremation has taken place and a service in her memory will be held on Tuesday February 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations in Pat's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 0S6.
