JUSTIN A. (JAY) LING JR. A loving husband, father and grandfather, Justin A. Ling Jr. passed away unexpectedly on January 30, 2008 at the age of 57. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 36 years, Margaret; his three sons, and their partners, Raymond (Alessandra), Cassidy (Sarah) and Curtis (Eleesha), and grandchildren, Kanen and Taylor who were the lights of his life. Jay is also survived by his mother and father, Justin and Mary Ling, sisters, Denise Wheeler, Kathryn Naud (Claude), Barbara Kelman (Craig), Nils Ling (Joyce), and Andrea Campbell. His many nieces and nephews all saw Uncle Jay as the funny, mischievous, unmerciful tease and relentless jokester - his passing has touched each of them deeply. Outside the family, Jay was Justin Ling - a seasoned professional in the car business in Winnipeg for three decades. He was proud of his many sales awards including achieving the status of Grand Sales Master. His innate charm, good humour, and ability to relate on a personal level to so many different kinds of people served him well in his long career. Scores of former colleagues in the industry as well as fellow members of the 141 Fishing Club will remember him as the never ending source of thousands of jokes and stories - many unprintable, almost all gut-bustingly funny. A celebration of Jay's life will be held on Tuesday, February 5 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Friends and family will gather together to cry a little, laugh a lot and remember one of those all-too-rare people who made the world a more joyful place just by being in it. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 885-9715
