COLETTE LODEWYKS (nee JOYAL) March 11, 1953 - February 2, 2008 Following a courageous battle with cancer, fought with strength, determination, and optimism, we have lost our one and only Colette. She lived life to the fullest and considered every day a gift. She enjoyed spending time with her family, travelling, going for walks, and relaxing in her sunroom. Colette was an inspiration to many. Her beautiful smile will always be remembered. She loved and was loved by many, including her special husband Bill, her children Troy (Jody), Lynn (Fred), Leanne, and her grandchildren Jessica, Luke, Amanda, Nate, and Julia. She is also survived by her mother Agnes Joyal, mother-in-law Catherina Lodewyks, grandmother Clotilde Fontaine Bruneau, and many more wonderful family and friends. The family would like to thank all of the health care professionals who helped Colette by being there when we needed them. Funeral services to be held at Mary Mother of the Church, 85 Kirkbridge Drive, on Thursday, February 7, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
