Memories of Judy will be cherished by her loving daughters, Sonia Ivans and Kristy Ivans (Kyle Mayan); her father, Jeff Mathieson; her sister, Karen Mathieson and her twin brother, Paul (Kathy) Mathieson of Edmonton. Judy was predeceased by her mother, Marie Mathieson and by her sister, Linda Greenslade. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Judy's compassionate and caring nature drew her into the field of nursing, where in 1972, she graduated from the University of Manitoba as a Registered Nurse, and placed into practicum her skills at both the Grace General and Victoria General Hospitals. Judy will be remembered by all who knew her for her girlish laugh, larger than life smile, bright blue eyes, great sense of humour, her caring and compassionate nature, easy-going manner and her resilience to whatever life handed her. She has left an indelible mark on the lives of those she touched. She will not be forgotten. The family would like to thank the staff at the Victoria General Hospital (4th floor) and Central Park Lodge for the exceptional care and support of our mother, daughter and sister.
