HERBERT KLASSEN It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Herbert Klassen on February 4, 2008 at the age of 66 years. Herbert is survived by his siblings, John (Bertha) Klassen, Winnipeg, Mathilda (Walter Hamm), Burnaby, BC, Neil (Charlotte) Klassen, Winnipeg, Henry (Joyce) Klassen, Whitehorse, YT, Jacob (Adeline) Klassen, Winnipeg and Richard (Judy) Klassen, Whitehorse, YT, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Cornelius Klassen in 1991 and Mary (Janzen) Klassen in 2004. Herb's passion was his concern for the poor and helpless children of this world. Special thanks to the staff at Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg for the wonderful care, kindness and compassion they so willingly gave. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, with viewing prior to the service. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
