Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAUSTIN GERARD BRADLEY April 9, 1931 - February 3, 2008 Peacefully, with family at this side, Austin passed away at the age of 76 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Austin Bradley and Alice Murray and sister, Bernice MacDonald. He will be sadly missed by his sons, Roger (Tammie), Gerry and daughter of his heart, Trish (Ward); grandchildren, Brandy, Tracy (Colin), Ryan, Adam, Ben and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Austin, Ceilidh, Hunter and Isabelle; brother, Eugene (Shirley); sisters, Viola and Delores along with numerous nieces and nephews. Austin's quick wit and infectious smile will be missed by all. He served his country in the Korean War and continued to serve on the Executive of the Sgt. Tommy Prince, MM Korean Veterans Memorial Unit 76 as Treasurer. Although he had many professions over his lifetime, Austin received his degree in Social Work in his early 40s. He will be most remembered for his work in addictions and family counselling for the remainder of his years. Austin was an active member in Alcoholics Anonymous and had celebrated his 42nd year of sobriety in 2007. A celebration of Austin's life will be held on Friday, February 8, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Inkster. We would like to thank the Concordia Hospital staff and Dr. Ormiston for the excellent care they gave Austin and his numerous friends who visited him in the last couple of months.
