PAUL GAWIUK Mr. Paul Gawiuk of Brandon, beloved husband of Lena and dear father of Gloria, Rod and Donna, passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Monday, February 4, 2008, at the age of 89 years. Divine Liturgy will take place at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 927 Assiniboine Avenue, Brandon, on Saturday, February 9, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Michael Tkachuk officiating. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in memory of Paul may be made to the B.R.H.C. Foundation, Palliative Care, 150 McTavish Ave. East, Brandon, MB R7A 2B3. Complete obituary information to follow. Messages of condolence may be placed at www.brockiedonovan.com. Thank you grompa for all the times you took me ice fishing and fishing, to cut down a Christmas tree in the bush, candy money, bringing my pen pal letters home and putting my mail on the table at lunch near my plate, for teaching me to loosen the reins when Champ reared up on me, and let me drive the van, and for all the times you took me to Brian's to ride Champ even in the winter. Granny missed you and on the day we lost her I know she met with you again. Hope you and all our family that has passed are happy together and having fun together. Miss you.
