EDWARD BOYKO Peacefully with his family by his side, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of Edward Boyko, on Wednesday February 6, 2008 at the Beausejour District Hospital, Beausejour Manitoba, at the age of 74 years. Ed is survived by his wife Irene of 48 years, daughter Linda (Tom) and son Wally (Audra). He is also survived by his mother Annie, his sisters Evelyn (Mike) and Pearl (John) and their families. He was predeceased by his father Walter and his son Douglas. He spent most of his career working as a foreman/mechanic for the Agassiz School Division and retired in 1995 after 27 years. Ed enjoyed his golfing, curling and gardening but his real passion was his flowers. He found immense satisfaction and pride in grooming a beautiful manicured yard and many flower beds. The family would like to give special thanks to Drs. Zeiler, Harris and Demsas and all the nurses for their caring, dedication and compassion in helping him battle cancer over the past year. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 11, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Highway No. 1 East at Navin Road. Father Walter Klimchuk will officiate.
