MARY SCHULTZ (nee RUF) 1972 - 2008 On January 16, 2008, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ peacefully took Mom to her Heavenly Home. Mary was predeceased by her husband Edward in 1990, all of her brothers and her sister. She will be sadly missed by her son Leonard and his wife Sita; grandson David (Dierdre), great-grandchildren Jessica and Ryan, her little ones ; granddaughter Jennifer (Mitchell) Heath of Florida, great-grandson Luka; sisters-in-law Anna and Emmy of Saskatchewan and many nieces and nephews. Although Mary was born in Winnipeg, she spent her childhood years on a farm near Rhine, SK. When she was 16 years old she moved back to Winnipeg and it was there she met Edward. They were happily married for over 50 years. They loved to travel to visit relatives in Saskatchewan, BC and California. Mom was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and of Peace Lutheran Church. She resided in Golden Links Lodge for the past seven years and always looked forward to visits from her family and Rev. Brad Schollenberg. We are truly grateful to Pastor Brad for his visits and in particular for his comforting visit during Mom's last day. We also appreciate the loving care and patience given to Mom by the staff of Golden Links Lodge. Thank you so much. According to Mom's wishes cremation has taken place and a private family interment was held at Chapel Lawn Cemetery.
