Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORENCE ELIZABETH PIERCE October 3, 1918 - February 7, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother after a lengthy illness at the Maples Personal Care Home, Winnipeg, MB. She is survived by one daughter Bev (Dennis) Archer; two granddaughters, Lori (Kevin) Moffatt and Carol-Ann (Chris) Zacharko; and four great-grandchildren, Terry Moffatt (Taryn) and Ian Moffatt (Hilary) and Sara and Chloe Zacharko and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased and will be reunited with her husband Max, her parents and all her siblings. Flo was a longtime resident of Portage la Prairie, involved with her church, charities and politics. Her recent years were spent near her family in Winnipeg. The family would like to thank the staff of the Maples Personal Care Home for their wonderful care. Funeral service conducted by the Reverend Jean Brydon will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at First Presbyterian Church, Portage la Prairie with interment to follow in the family plot in Hillside Cemetery.
