FRANK JOSEPH MULLER It is with great sadness and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Frank Muller at the age of 80 years, on Thursday, February 7, 2008 with his beloved family at his side. Left to cherish his memory are Frances, his wife of 60 years, their children Erika Van Steelant and Walter (Colleen) Muller, grandchildren Leaha-Marie Van Steelant, Lisa (Mike) Neale, Christopher (Tammy) Van Steelant, Elaine Muller, and Curtis Muller, great-grandchildren Jonathan Neale, Dana Van Steelant, and Kaleb Van Steelant. He has predeceased by his mother Katherine in 1978, father Michael in 1944, brother Michael in 2006, and sister-in-law Marie in 1999. Dad was born on June 5, 1927 in Zigidorf, Yugoslavia. We immigrated to Canada from Austrian 1953. He was an accomplished musician and a machinist by trade, holding many positions in his lifetime. He always supported his family with a genuine sense of humor, and left us with many memories that will never be forgotten. We were all very proud of Dad for his gift of music, entertaining many thousands with his fellow band members that made up the Polka Dots . The band entertained during the 1960s, 70s, and 80s throughout Manitoba and parts of the USA. After a debilitating stroke in 1990 caused his early retirement he could only listen to his music with sentimental memories. In Our Hearts Forever Sleep Well Dear Opa Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Seven Oaks Hospital 5th floor, and ICU for their care and compassion.
