DANIEL GEORGE STONE Peacefully, after a short illness, Dad left us to meet eternity. He was born in Winnipeg on August 25, 1919 and lived all his 88 years with energy and a love of life. Dan was predeceased by his beloved wife of 51 years, Olive, in 1994 and many years earlier by both his parents, Edward and Kate Stone. Dan was also predeceased by brother Lennox and sister Joyce. Mourning Dan is his sister Alice Fee of Vancouver; his only son Mark Stone (married to Elizabeth) of Winnipeg; only grandson Curtis Stone of Winnipeg; brother-in-law Robert (married to Audrey) of British Columbia; sister-in-law Bernice of Edmonton; sister-in-law Orra (married to Raymond) of Winnipeg; along with many nieces and nephews and their families. Dan lived a full life. We will sadly miss him and fondly treasure his memory. We are thankful to the staff at Central Park Lodge and Victoria Hospital for caring for our Dad. We will celebrate his life in a memorial service at Waverley Fellowship Baptist Church, 2171 Waverley, at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2008.
