Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM BRENNAN 1944 - 2008 Peacefully and with dignity, Bill succumbed on February 6, 2008, Ash Wednesday, after a long and difficult battle with illness. Bill was born to Walter and Olive (Threlfall) Brennan, in Winnipeg, on Good Friday, April 7, l944. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Joanne; son, Sean and his wife, Joanne. He was a devoted and proud grandfather to Ricky and Ainsley. Bill will be missed by his brother, Bob; sister, Shirley and brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Carol Leroux and their families. Bill's career began in 1967 with Plibrico Canada Ltd. The company changed names many times over the years and is now RHI. Forced to leave, because of ill health, Bill always intended to return to work. Over the 40 years in the refractory business, Bill made many friends, and was respected and missed. The Lake of the Woods was Bill's favourite place, the hunting lodge at the Delta Marsh being a close second. Bill had many dear and special friends that enhanced his enjoyment of life. He had wonderful circles of friends centered around the Lake of the Woods cottage that he built, and the Delta Marsh lodge that he founded with his father-in-law. He was bolstered in his last years by the support of his coffee group. Special thanks to the staff at Sherbrook and Central HSC and appreciation goes out to Dr. Jamie Boyd, Dr. John Rabson, Dr. Herman Lam, Dr. Robert Bard and the Dialysis team, as well as the staff at HSC MICU and CCU. A service celebrating Bill's life will be held at St. Mary's Anglican Church, 3830 Roblin Blvd. at Haney on Monday, February 11, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. Dream like you might live forever, live like you might die tomorrow.
