Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELEANOR MILLER It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eleanor Miller on February 7, 2008. Eleanor was born on June 29, 1928, in Melville, Saskatchewan. She came to Winnipeg as a teenager and worked for a number of years at the Continental Can Company of Canada. Eleanor was active at Grace Lutheran Church for most of her adult life. Eleanor is survived by two sons, Donald and Darrell, daughter-in-law Joan, grandson Matthew and brother Richard. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Elmer, brothers Rudy and Philip and sister Jean. Eleanor enjoyed spending time with her family and before her husband's passing, winter vacations in Hawaii. Before her illness Eleanor enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening and working in her yard. At the family's request, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 211 Kimberley Ave., on Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bruce Gelhorn officiating. All are welcome. Special thanks to the staff at Kildonan Personal Care Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Grace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
