Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOMICIANO OLIVEIRA It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, devoted father and grandfather Domiciano Oliveira, age 62, on Thursday, February 7, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. Remaining to cherish his memory forever is his devoted wife of 40 years, Donaria; daughters, Susana (Angelo), Anabela (Frank), Paula (Alfredo) and Elizabeth (Carlos). He was a devoted and proud grandfather to Sarah, Michelle, Ashley, Eleni, Melissa, Anthony, Victoria and Nicholas. He will also be missed by his brothers, Rui (Alcianda), Joáo (Fatima) and Tony, sisters Octavia (Joáo Viera), Alda Borges (Manuel), Maria Nicolau (Carlos), Gilda Oliveira, Niveria Pimentel (Manuel), Graca Medeiros (Joáo) and Lucy Bulhoes (Joáo José), mother-in-law Natalia Medeiros and father-in-law Joáo Medeiros, also brothers-in-law Joáo Medeiros, José Medeiros (Maria), Mario Medeiros, Luis Medeiros (Carol), and sisters- in-laws Lourdes Coelho and Maria Monis, well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and neighbors. He was predeceased by his parents Domiciano and Deolinda Oliveira and baby son Walter George Oliveira. Domiciano was born in Sao Miguel, Portugal on June 7, 1945. Domiciano and his family immigrated to Canada in 1973 and began his career in 1975 with CPRail. Domiciano made many friends and was respected and missed when he was forced to leave due to illness. He loved spending time with his family, fishing and camping. Prayers will be held on Monday, February 11 at 7:00 p.m. at Blessed John XXII Roman Catholic Church, 3390 Portage Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 12 at 10:30 a.m. also at the Church with Rev. Msgr. Maurice Comeault, P.H. officiating. Interment will follow in Assumption Mausoleum. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
