Irene will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Anita Neault, Adrian and Gary (Michele); grandchildren, Michael, Melissa, Adam and Aaron (Amanda), great-grandchildren, Dawson, R.J. McDonald, Kyler and Brayden, her brothers and sisters, Josephine, Leo (Anne) and Florence (Maurice) and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Elmer in 2004, four sisters and two brothers. Mom spent many years working in the laundry department at the Health Science Center. Involvement at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church and the Women Christian League were special times for her, but music and especially her involvement with the Country Gems brought her special joy. Her family was her greatest joy and family diners at grandma and grampa's house were always special. She loved cooking and baking, and her famous carrot cake was a treat worth waiting for every holiday. Her grandchildren held a very special place in her heart and were always welcomed with loving arms. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Park Manor Personal Care Home for the care and compassion in looking after their mother.
