DONNA GRACE MCGREGOR July 24, 1933 - February 10, 2008 Donna passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospital on February 10, 2008. Donna is survived by son Bruce (Kimberley); daughter Kathleen (Dwain); grandchildren, Melissa, Kayla, Scott and Erin, Lindsey, Josh and Erik; sister-in-law Maureen; and several nieces and nephews. Donna was predeceased by William, her loving husband of 48 years; her father Stanley; mother Katherine; and brother Russell. Donna grew up in Weston where she achieved her education at Cecil Rhodes School. Throughout her life, Donna worked at Eaton's in many different retail positions. She spent the majority of her career working in the Polo Park store as a Beauty Advisor on the Elizabeth Arden counter where she enjoyed serving her customers and working in the cosmetic industry. After retiring, Donna worked part time as a fragrance consultant. Donna had a wonderful sense about her and was very kind, gentle, and generous. She enjoyed entertaining many guests throughout the years in the family home and excelled at cooking. She also had a wonderful singing voice which she entertained many people through the Gordon Hotels and was a member of the Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir. Donna was happiest when her family and friends were around her. All that knew and loved her will sadly miss Donna. The family would like to express their thanks to the doctors and the nursing staff of the Grace Hospital for their wonderful medical care through out her illness. To all our friends for their support and visits to the hospital ... it was most appreciated. A family graveside service has taken place. Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Young United Church, 100 - 222 Furby Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Donna's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L OK6 or the Arthritis Society, Suite 105 - 386 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB.
