INEZ MABEL (DUNBAR) STEPHEN July 10, 1936 - February 9, 2008 Peacefully, with family by her side, Inez (Dunbar) Stephen, of Elie, MB, passed away at the Portage District General Hospital on Saturday, February 9, 2008, at the age of 71 years. Funeral service will be held in the Oakville United Church on Friday, February 15, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Chuck Ross officiating, and will terminate at the church. A private family interment will take place at the Oakville Cemetery. Inez was born on the family farm at Oakville, MB, on July 10, 1936, the eldest child of Jack and Jannette Dunbar. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother William (Bill), sister Marlene Fehr, and sisters-in-laws, Elizabeth, May and Annie. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jack, her daughter Shelley (Philip) Lachance and their children, Jenna, Jade, Stephen and Amber; son Robert (Tracey) Stephen and children, Gavin and Hailey; brother Gary (Michele) Dunbar and their family, sister-in-law Ora Dunbar and children, Brent, Tammy, Oralea (Rod) Marquardt and their children, Kyla and William; nephew Derek (Tara) Fehr and Dylan; and niece Nicole (Doug) Fehr. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Community Trust of William Marquardt in care of any branch of the Portage Credit Union.
