STANLEY CHYCHALUK September 12, 1933 February 12, 2008 After a courageous battle with cancer, Stan passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at the Pine Falls Hospital. Stan was born in Rossburn, MB, moving to Grandview, MB a few years later. He grew up and farmed there with his dad. In 1960 he moved to Winnipeg where he worked at Joy Manufacturing for a number of years. It was in Winnipeg he met the love of his life Jean whom he later married. They resided in Winnipeg and later built their home in St. Georges, MB and resided there until his passing. Stan is survived by his mother Rose and brother Lloyd of Winnipeg, his only living Aunt Jean Mardynalka of Hadashville, MB, sisters-in-law Rita Ackabee and Rose Lamirande, and brother-in-law Rick Henry of Winnipeg. Also surviving are numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Matt in 1982, and his wife Jean in 1994. We wish to thank the nursing staff and doctors of Pine Falls Hospital for their wonderful care of Stan. Also thank you to Stan's special friends Lillian Veilleux and Brian Fontaine for their constant care and being there for him. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 15 at 11:30 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue East, Beausejour, MB with Rev. Fr. James Gray presiding.
