MARY KAYE We are saddened to announce that our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully with her family by her side at St. Boniface Hospital on February 12th, 2008. Mary's kind and loving qualities will be sorrowfully missed by her daughter Sandra (Jack), son Peter (Diane), grandchildren Chris (Jin), Dean (Tara), and Breena (Darren), great-granddaughter Bailey, sister Rose, sisters-in-law June Marian and Rose Marian, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was born in Winnipeg on December 30, 1916 to George and Fedora Marian, the second oldest of five children. She was an avid bowler, winning numerous awards. Mary was employed with Salisbury House for 31 years, the majority spent working at the location in the Tribune Building. Her favourite place to be was Ponemah Beach, where she enjoyed her many summers there with family and friends. Mary was predeceased by her parents, sister Anne, brothers John and Steve, husband Peter and her friend Jack Burns. The family would like to extend special thanks to Gio and Mary's friend Barbara. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, Room 1160-675 McDermot Ave, Wpg, MB. R3L 0B9.
