Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA ZELIA SOUSA Peacefully, on Tuesday, February 12, 2008, Maria Zelia Sousa passed away at the Poseidon Care Centre at the age of 84 years. Maria is survived by her children, Carlos (Fatima), John (Stella), Luis (Margaret), Filomena (Wayne) Radlinsky, Ernie (Judy), and Sally (John) Pavao, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Maria was predeceased by her husband Joao in 2000. Prayers will be said at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15 at Immaculate Conception Church, 181 Austin Street North. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, February 16 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Church with Rev. José Eduardo Medeiros presiding. Rite of Committal will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Medeiros, Carlos Sousa Jr., Kevin Sousa, Donny Medeiros, Scott Pavao and Kevin Tavares. A special thank you to Dr. Jain and all the staff on the 2nd floor at Poseidon Care Centre especially nurses, Sylvia, Susan and Carol for their love and compassion.
