GEORGE WILLIAM PINKOWSKI
Born: Aug 27, 1939
Date of Passing: Jan 27, 2008
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE WILLIAM PINKOWSKI August 27, 1939 - January 27, 2008 Peacefully, after a short but determined battle with cancer, George and I said goodbye with the promise of being together again one day. Remaining to forever cherish George's memory are his wife Susan; children, Brad (Pam), Jeff (Shannon) and Kerry; brother Ron (Vivian); sister Joanne; Uncle Bill and Aunt Vicki, as well as his grandchildren, nephews, cousins, special friends and extended family. George was the love of my life! During our 25 years together, he was able to take early retirement from I.B.M. in 1994 and myself in 1998. Because we so enjoyed being and doing things together, this allowed us to have so many fun and happy times. George was a strong believer in being active and watching your diet. Walking, cycling or golfing which he loved was a part of every day. Looking after the car also gave him great pleasure. Planning winter holidays was always exciting. Our Florida holiday in March 2007 will always be special. So what happened to our plan of growing old together and having twin scooters? Well, it's not to be. But, I have wonderful memories to cherish! Our sincerest thank you to Dr. P. Harris and the staff at Grace CancerCare. Your care and support will not be forgotten. In compliance with George's wishes no formal funeral service will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined. Geordie, my sweet, you are an angel I know.
