Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA MAY WALDIE Died peacefully on February 13, 2008, at the age of 78 years. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Anna May grew up in Minnedosa, MB. She graduated from Whitby's Ladies College in Ontario, then moved to Winnipeg where she worked for Eaton's from 1949-1992. A dedicated dog-lover, she had many wonderful dogs throughout her life, and was a member of the Leave a Legacy Heritage Circle of the Winnipeg Humane Society. She also enjoyed gardening, bird watching and spending time at her cottage on Brereton Lake. Her loving husband, Douglas, predeceased Anna May. The youngest of four daughters, her older sisters Marjorie, Gladys and Donalda also preceded her in death. She is survived by her niece, Louise Townley, her nephew, Raymond Kirchner, two great-nieces, three great-nephews, and three great-great-nieces and nephews. The family is extremely grateful to the many friends and neighbours who were so kind and generous to Ann. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 19 at 10 a.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave. (entrance on Aubrey Street).
