EDWARD ELMO GEORGE Passed away peacefully on February 17, 2008. Edward was born in Howden Le Wear, County Durham, England, April 28, 1929 and immigrated to Canada in 1956. Ted is predeceased by his beloved wife Ellen Isabella George (nee Simpson). Left to mourn his passing are his daughters, Hazel George-Saito (Shigeo Saito), Katherine George-Harvey (Craig Harvey) and his precious granddaughters, Sumi and Laura. The family would like to thank the staff on 6A West at the St. Boniface Hospital for their care and kindness during our father's brief time there. We would also like to thank friends and family whose support has been immeasurable during this difficult time. A memorial service will follow cremation February 21, 2008, 1:00 p.m. at St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church, 881 Autumnwood Drive. Flowers gratefully declined.
