IRWIN THOMAS HOWARD December 24, 1929 February 17, 2008 It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Irwin Thomas Howard at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his parents William and Emma (Gates) Howard, his in-laws Tom and Anne Sissons, his brothers-in-law Dave, Clarence and Bill Sissons, and Henrick Bessason. Irwin leaves to cherish his memory his wife Helen (nee Sissons) of 55 years; son Terry (Pat), daughter Laurie (John Pilon); 4 grandchildren David and Rene Pilon, Leanne Howard, Scott (Shawna) Howard; three great-grandchildren Kaidence Pilon, Austin and Amber Howard; sister Bernice (Ashley) Evans; sisters-in-law Betty (Mervin) Evans, Ruth Bessason, Kay Sissons and numerous nieces and nephews. Irwin was a grain buyer in various Manitoba locations for 21 years and then worked for Versatile Manufacturing for 21 years. In his leisure time Irwin loved camping and golfing, especially with his beloved family. In keeping with Irwin's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will held at Glencoe Cemetery at a later date.
