EDWARD (ED) PENDULAK Edward passed away peacefully in the early hours of Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the Bethania Personal Care Home. Survived by his son Gerry (Kelly) and their sons Jason and Nicholas (Heather); daughter Sharon (Jay) and her children Alicia, Becky, Tyler, and Ryan; as well as great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Stella, parents, Nicholas and Mary Pendulak, brother Rudy, sister Jean and a sister in infancy. Dad was born in Winnipeg on July 10, 1919 and grew up in Fort Rouge. He joined the Army in 1942 and was discharged in 1947. After owning a small grocery store in Fort Rouge he moved on to become a salesman for Red Rose Tea. He left Red Rose Tea and then joined Burns Foods in Dauphin, Winnipeg, The Interlake and Pine Falls areas, making friends along the way. Dad served at St. Mary's Anglican Church with the choir, he loved to sing. He was also an active Legion member with both Charleswood and Fort Garry branches. Dad resided at Bethania Personal Care Home where he had the best of care from a loving and caring staff. Special thanks to Jack, Doris, Barb and special friends he made at Bethania Grace and Lloyd Williams. Memorial donations may be sent in Dad's memory to Bethania Personal Care Home, 1045 Concordia Ave. R2K 3S7. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday February 20, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at Bethania Personal Care Home Chapel, 1045 Concordia Ave. Chapel Lawn 885 - 9715
