MARY BOITSON (nee CHUDAK) Mary Boitson, aged 87 years, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, February 17, 2008 at the Betel Personal Care Home, Selkirk. Mary is survived by her two children, Gordon (Betty-Anne) and Frances. She was also blessed with eight grandchildren, Mitchell (Suzanne), Martin (Kristol), Matthew (Brenda), Wesley (Jennifer), Alesha (Terry), Robert, Christopher (Amanda) and Jennifer; 10 great-grandchildren, Meagan, Dylan, Brooke, Taylor, Tyler, Lauren, Hank, Carter, Lindsay, and Mason; as well as her sister Audrey Schmidt. She was predeceased by her husband John; son-in-law Gordon McPherson; parents, Harry and Nettie Chudak; brothers, Michael, John and Bill and sisters, Anne, Helen and Marjorie. She was born on August 5, 1920 in Pleasant Home, Mb. Throughout her life, Nan was a very giving person especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She liked cooking, gardening, golf ball hunting, berry picking and cats. She was a very hardworking and active person putting on many miles walking to and from town. There wasn't an hour in the day, or night where you couldn't stop by Nan's and get a home cooked meal. Upon Nan's wishes there will be no service but a small family gathering. We'd like to thank the Betel Personal Care Home, Selkirk for their loving care as well as Dr. S.V. Patel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society or a charity of one's choice.
