BARRY KILLBERY It is with deep sorrow that the family of Barry Killbery announce his passing on Friday, February 15, 2008 at the St. Boniface Palliative Care Ward. Barry was born in Brandon on March 9, 1940 and lived his life in Winnipeg (St. James). Barry's working life included Killbery Industries, All Killbery Travel, KarBasher, and recently retired from Materials Distribution - MDA (Provincial Government) and will be missed by his colleagues there. Barry loved his family and was very proud of them; we in turn loved him and will miss him dearly. He enjoyed his cottage at Granite Lake particularly when all his family and friends were there. Barry was seldom idle and enjoyed his weekly curling at Deer Lodge Curling Club. His tool belt will be missed by all who knew and relied on him. Barry is survived by his wife and best friend Kathy; his daughters, Robin (Rob) Carnegie, Lorelei (Dean) McAuley; his sons, Ross (Barb) Killbery and Art Killbery. He is also survived by his brother Wayne (Ann) Killbery; sisters, Lynn (Russ) Crockett and Sharon Killbery (Bruce Nichols). Barry's greatest joy was his grandchildren Sydney and Danielle Carnegie, Taylor and Troy McAuley and Michael and Jenny Killbery. Barry will also be missed by many nieces and nephews, and by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Art and Laura Campbell and sisters-in-law Alys (Brian) Tomasson, Elaine Campbell (Don Logan) and Shelagh Campbell, Linda Rigaux, Bev McLeod, Leslie (Peter) Jamieson and brother-in-law Glen (Mary) McLeod. Barry was pre-deceased by his parents, Tom and Alice Killbery, his sister Gail Killbery and his wife Judy, Doug and Marion McLeod, Barry McLeod, Noel Rigaux and his niece Trish Rigaux. The family wishes to thank the St. Boniface Palliative Care Ward for their kindness and compassion, also the many nurses and support staff at the Health Sciences Center. A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Drive. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to Cancer Care Manitoba or to the Children's Wish Foundation for a child with cancer to have a wish fulfilled. Chapel Lawn 885 - 9715
