ALICE ZLOTY Peacefully on February 15, 2008, Alice Zloty, passed away at Seven Oaks General Hospital at 87 years of age. Alice was predeceased by her beloved husband Michael Zloty, her parents Mary and Fred Babaluk and her sister Stella Churchill. She is survived by her loving son Robert (Gretchen), her brother Alec Babaluk (Stella) and her sister Annette Sul. Alice will also be sadly mourned by her many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Alice met her husband Mike while working at Canada Packers in Winnipeg. She would later work at Great West Life where she continued until her retirement. Alice enjoyed bowling, having won a few championships. She was most fond of gardening and tending to her many flowers. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and especially her son Bob, the apple of her eye. Her niece Nikki had become a good friend to her these past few years. The family would like to thank the staff at Arlington Haus, Home Care Services and Seven Oaks General Hospital for their kindness and consideration. According to Alice's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alice's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
