Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY JOHN TOKASH July 23, 1942 - February 18, 2007 Peacefully, in his sleep, Stanley was called to the Lord. He will be mourned by Fay Tokash and their three “darling daughters” – Cheryl, Lisa (Terry, Michael, and Jordan Zolinski), and Candy (Owen). Stanley also leaves behind his brothers and sisters – Annie, Emily, Eddie, Rose, Mary, Danny, Kathy, and Bernice; their spouses and families. Stanley was the blue-eyed, blonde who was known at all the dance halls of his youth. He was a guitar-playing, banjo-strumming man who finally settled down long enough to raise his three girls. Stanley always had a twinkle in the corner of his eye and a gentle smile. Prayers and viewing will be held on Friday, February 23 at 7:00 p.m., with final farewell and burial on Saturday, February 24 at 10:30 a.m. Both events will take place at Gilbarts Funeral Home, 50-1st Ave, Gimli, MB. Pallbearers will be Mers Chorney, George Spulnick, Terry Zolinski, John Bregman, Nick Romanchuk, and Walter Babiak. Honourary pallbearers will be Danny Tokash and Eddie Tokash. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements.
