Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTELLA SAHAIDAK On Saturday, February 16, 2008, Stella went to be with her Lord. She was predeceased by her mother Teodorka Kozera-Sahaidak, father Leon Sahaidak, brother Mike Sahaidak, sister Francis Walker, brother-in-law Michael Gonzola and niece Leona Stumph-Gonzola. She leaves behind, her sister Mary Gonzola, brother-in-law Bert Walker, and sister-in-law Olga Sahaidak. Besides her beloved niece and Godchild Doris Gowryluk (Don), daughter Trish Goosen (Andrew) and her children, Carter and Victoria, she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their children. In 1988 Stella retired from the workforce, enjoying every moment of her retirement. She served as a volunteer for Meals-on-Wheels, Agape Table and Elim Chapel office. Stella loved her God, her Church, and the fellowship of her Christian brothers and sisters. A special thank you to the second floor staff of Misericordia Place Personal Care Home for their loving care of Stella for the last three years. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at Elim Chapel, 546 Portage Ave. with Lyle Sutton officiating. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in Stella's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society, 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. And as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives. And at the last He will take His stand on earth. Even after my skin is destroyed, yet from my flesh I shall see God; whom I myself shall behold, and whom my eyes shall see and not another.
