CAROLYN MILLER On Sunday, February 17, 2008, at her residence, Carolyn Miller passed away at the age of 44 years. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Omega Funeral Home on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Father Michael Wollbaum officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. Carolyn was born in Neepawa on October 28, 1964, daughter of Joyce and William Miller. While her mother was ill, she moved in with her sister and brother to live with her special family Irene and Arnold Miller. After the passing of her mother, her father remained an integral part of her life, but she continued to live with Irene and Arnold, and she received her education in the Plumas and Gladstone schools. She then took a secretarial course at the Hertzing Career College in Winnipeg. After realizing that she didn't like secretarial work, she moved to Portage and began to work at the Daily Graphic where she worked for 20 years. She then went to work at McCains and started part time as a postal carrier. At the time of her passing she was a postal carrier in the north end of Portage. Carolyn loved to walk, visit with people, read, garden and enjoyed the outdoors. Her special times were spent with her family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Joyce and William, her special parents Irene and Arnold; she leaves to mourn her passing her sister Margaret (Mark) Nelissen of Portage, their children: Karrah, Mitchell and Nicole (who loved to call her their Auntie Jo), her brother Arthur of Winnipeg. Also surviving is her aunt Marilyn (Ken), Uncle David (Jan), Grandma Kittner and numerous extended aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She will be sadly missed by her special friends: Gwen, Evelyn and family, Harriet, and Marjorie. Should friends so desire memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. A tribute DVD in memory of Carolyn will be produced by the Omega Funeral Home and friends may leave a message of sympathy on our web site www.omegafuneralhome.com Dedicated to those we serve .
