TERENCE RONALD (RON) LATIMER It is with sorrow in our hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Terence Ronald (Ron) Latimer, our beloved sweetheart, brother, uncle and friend, at the age of 72 years. He left us surrounded with love at his bedside on February 15, 2008, at St. Boniface Hospital. Ron was born in Wynyard, Saskatchewan, on June 20, 1935, the second of three sons born to Christine Hazel and Lawrence Gerald Latimer. An electrician by trade, Ron worked for Sherritt Gordon Mines for 20 years before opening his own business, RBT Electric, which he continued to operate until his untimely death. A dear man, with a heart of gold, Ron spent his entire life in the community of Lynn Lake (formerly Sherridon), Manitoba. Ron was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Gerry. He is survived and will be greatly missed by his sweetheart Rose Sayies; brother Keith (Loretta); sister-in-law Helen; nephews Dene, Shannon and Devin; nieces Desi, Chris, Deri, Taren and Tami; as well as numerous extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ron's memory can be made to St. Simon's Church in Lynn Lake, Manitoba. A memorial service will be held in Lynn Lake on Saturday, February 23, 2008, at St. Simon's Church followed by a luncheon and remembrances at The Legion. Cremation has taken place and a service with interment will be held in Lynn Lake in the summer of 2008. Ron cherished all of the people that were a part of his life and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Special thanks to Don Preston, Del Hildebrandt and Mark Reimer for taking care of things at home and to the wonderful staff at the St. Boniface ICU(notably, a special nurse appropriately named Lynn). YABBA DABBA DOOO.....I'VE HAD A GREAT RUN!!
