CHERYL CYCHOWSKI (nee REBECK) 1961 - 2003 The dearest sister and sweetest friend, One of the best whom God could lend. She was loving, gentle, thoughtful and true, Always willing a kind act to do. It is not tears at the moment shed, That tell how beloved is the soul that has fled. But tears through many a long night wept, And loving remebrance fondly kept. - Lovingly remembered by Sandi, Allan, Jessica, Chase and Jenna-Rae.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Cheryl and I were good friends thru grade school and junior high attending Elmwood High. I lived on Johnson ave as well. I would stop in at her house every morning so we could walk to school together. I was over at her house all the time whether we listened to music and talked about boys. We loved to just hang out in the downstairs rec room chatting and giggling. I remember taking the day off school to help her mom out because Cheryl got the mumps and her mom had to work so I took care of her that day. I also recall her dad was a coach of the local hockey team in Elmwood. Cheryl and I used to love to make silly rhymes up about her dog Coco. I looked up her family many years ago and her mom asked if I would go see Cheryl. I was so excited to see Cheryl after so many years had gone by. I brought my wedding album and pictures of my kids to catch her up on my life. I ended up leaving it there by mistake. She was going to mail it out to me at one point but I lost touch again with Cheryl over the years. Just today I was searching for Cheryl and was so saddened to see that she has pasted away so long ago. I am so sorry to her entire family (her mom & dad, sisters Sandi & Leanne) for such a great loss of a wonderful human being. God calls the good ones home too soon! - Posted by: Pamela Kervel (née Smith) (Childhood friend. ) on: Dec 21, 2019
