GEORGINA IRENE LANGLOIS (nee GRANDPRE) May 15, 1947 - February 22, 2008 God saw you getting tired A cure was not to be, So he reached out his hand And said come home to me. Peacefully, with her family around her, Georgina went home to God. She fought a great battle and leaves to mourn a daughter, Genevieve Rehill (Victor); grandchildren, Rowan Henry two years and Georgia Rose 15 months; a son Christian Langlois; a brother Randy (Debbie), and their children, Brooke and Stephen; a sister Sylvia Allan (David), and their children, Jason (Jane), Tracy Allan Settee (Kevin); great-nieces and nephew Courtney and Damian Settee and Daphne Daniels; also many relatives in England. Georgina was predeceased by her parents, Joan and Victor Grandpre. Georgina will be missed by many friends and Co-workers from the North West Co. Northern Stores, formally Hudson Bay House, Main St. where she worked for over 40 years until her illness. A special thank you to Brenda for all her love and support. A Memorial Service to celebrate her Life will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Ave., followed by a Reception in the Church hall. Private interment will follow at a later date at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Cancer Care Research Fund.
