ARTHUR KARL 1931 2008 Peacefully on February 22, 2008 Arthur passed to be with the Lord with his loving wife and family at his side. Arthur will be greatly missed by his wife Irene; sons, Richard, Leonard and Gordon; his daughter, Debbie; grandchildren, Derrick, Deziray and Adam and Andrew. He is also survived by his brother Albert; sisters, Linda and Hertha; brothers-in-law, Frank Will, Martin Kahler, Ed Zabowski; sister-in-law Eva Will plus nieces and nephews. Arthur was predeceased by his parents, Gustav and Ida. Arthur was born in Marjanowke, Poland to German parents who fled to Germany. They spent three months in a refugee camp. In January 1949 they moved to Canada. Cremation has taken place and private memorial will be held. In lieu of flowers donations in Arthur's name may be made to CancerCare Manitoba 675 McDermot Avenue R3E 0V9 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba 6 Donald Street R3L 0K6.
